It is time to take action to ensure fairness and protection of the rights of employees, whatever their status, in the Luxembourg banking sector. Employees in the sector in Luxembourg are often classified as “senior managers” without respecting the legal criteria. This classification can have negative consequences, as it excludes them from the collective agreement. As a result, they do not enjoy the benefits of this agreement, such as pay rises, extra days off, overtime pay, access to continuing training, etc. It is crucial to take action to defend the rights of these employees and to respect sectoral collective agreements to ensure fairness in the Luxembourg banking sector.
